Hello! I’m a teacher currently living in Istanbul. I spent around 20 years in Cappadocia and also lived in France for four years before moving here.

I love dancing (especially salsa & bachata ), going for long walks, swimming, camping, exploring new places, and discovering different cultures. Traveling has always been an important part of my life—especially during my university years, when I traveled more frequently and met amazing people from all around the world.

I’ve both hosted and stayed with many people through Couchsurfing and other platforms, and those experiences have been some of the most meaningful ones for me. I truly enjoy connecting with people and sharing cultures.

I’m not able to host guests at the moment, but I’d be more than happy to help you with anything about Istanbul or Cappadocia—tips, recommendations, or just a friendly chat

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve traveled through many cities in Turkey by hitchhiking. I’ve camped in the mountains and by the sea, staying in a tent. I also did a solo trip across Europe

I can teach you anything you’d like to know about Turkey and the Turkish language. I can also show you some basic salsa or bachata moves, and share my travel stories with you.

I’m someone who loves learning, so you can teach me anything too! I really enjoy new experiences. Lately, I’ve been especially interested in activities like rowing, canoeing, and tennis.
