I'm from Vietnam and my name is Hong Ngoc, which means Ruby in English. However, as most of foreign friends have difficulty pronouncing my name, people also call me by my surname which is Mai - yes, Mai Mai here. 😄

I'm a small girl having a huge interest in travelling, mostly backpacking and planning for a trip always makes me so happyyyy.

I'm quite shy at first but will be a chatty box later. 😁

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

11.2015, Seoul - Korea: Enjoyed a body scrub (seshin) by a scrubbing "mistress" (ddemiri) in a Jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse) while being totally N.A.K.E.D. An oddly awkward but satisfying experience. 😁

03.2016, Bagan - Myanmar: Rode an ebike in the morning darkness (about 4am) to Bulethi pagoda, climbed up to its top to watch Sunrise. It was cold and dark. The top was high. But I remembered my heart was beating fast of excitement and happiness and I couldn't stop smiling while waiting to see the mighty Sun. 😀

What I love most in Singapore is Bakkutteh. (Directly translating to ‘meat bone tea’ in English, Bak Kut Teh is customarily prepared through many hours of simmering meaty pork ribs in a broth of pepper and garlic, amongst other herbs - Yummyyy)
