I'm a fairly enthusiastic engineering student who lives in Budapest. Despite living in a city with reportedly nice nightlife, I prefer being outdoors in the weekends. I love hiking, cycling in the countryside etc. I travelled around Hungary a lot, but I've only been to a few neighboring countries. I'm looking to expand my horizons in the near future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe it's just as much fun to meet people from other countries at home as visiting other places is. I've just signed up and I've never had the opportunity to host someone, but I hope this is about to change.

I'll be travelling to London in early July. I've never been to the UK before. I'll only be there for a week, and I'd love to focus on getting to know the way of life there. I'm sure the best way to discover the culture is to get to know locals. Besides, I'd be happy to welcome future friends in Budapest. :-)

Interests

I love nature. I actually prefer spending time in the countryside to the big city life. I'm a fan of outdoor activities: cycling, hiking, etc. Of course, I have nothing against a night of partying every now and then. Nothing wild though - having a few drinks with my buddies at a bar with a nice atmosphere - fortunately, there is an abundance of such places in Budapest.

When I'm cooped up inside, I spend my time watching TV series and reminding myself to grab a nice book every now and then. When I actually grab a nice book, it is usually quite noticeable by my serious lack of sleep for a few days... :-)

I love what I'm studying - so I'm interesed in electronics, robotics, software development, math... If you're a science person, I'm pretty sure we'll end up talking about this geeky stuff :-)
