Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First time in Peru. Staying in the country for a month. Planning to trek in the mountains north of Lima. Maybe visiting Arequipa, Cusco and Lake Titicaca region afterwards.

Interests

Valuable conversations are the best. I enjoy reading, exercising and traveling. I also like to get to know the local cultures, as well as the natural features. Vegan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into medieval and classical music. I do like pretty much any genre, though.

Dr. Zhivago has been one of my favourite novels. Japanese authors like Mishima, Tanizaki and Murakami have influenced my way of thinking as well, along with Juan Rulfo's Pedro Páramo. I'm currently reading Walden, by Henry David Thoreau.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying a few days on a Tibetan monastery in Sichuan.

Swimming on a pristine river in Cuba.

Camping at the top of a pagoda in Hunan.

Riding a bike over the fields of Sant'Erasmo island.

Living on a 15th century palazzo over the Grand Canal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I made an internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice last year.

Community Service at the Mexican ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Planning to develop projects that approach communities to their tangible past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long and meaningful conversations about literature, wanderlust and art. I like to get immersed into a city's daily life, so I would love to explore new places along with my host.
