About Me

I'm a 19 year old guy from Montreal, my first language is French and I'm currently on a trip of 3 month and a half that started in Morocco and is to end in Spain in the beginning of July. I would describe myself as a people's person, I love to meet new folks, discover new cultures and new mentalities. I also enjoy the occasional alone time reading, watching a movie, biking, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Appart from the economical argument, I feel the real way to travel is true meeting locals and living the local life as much as possible. I exchanged homes in the past with my family, now I feel is time to explore couch surfing! Meeting people, sharing, living with.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes in pretty flexible, Charles Aznavour, sea shanties, pink Floyd, kendrick Lamar, iron Maiden, Johnny Cash, Buika, Kanye West, Gorrilaz, Cinderella, the black Keys... For books, I grew up with books of knights and fantastic creatures. Today I lean towards some adventures (Alexandre Dumas), some more philosophical (Milan Kundera), some more social maybe (George Orwell) or the occasional crime novel or the drama. Taking about movies could take up whole days, but I'll keep myself to doing the impossible, building a top 10. No particular order: Cyrano de Bergerac (with Depardieu), Kings of Summer, The Thin Red Line, Before Sunset, Dances with Wolves, Grand Torino (or any Eastwood), "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", Pulp Fiction (or Natural Born Killer or any Tarantino really), The skin I live in (La Piel que Habito) and 12 Angry Men.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a hard one, what qualifies as amazing? I've seen the shanty towns of Dominican Republic, I got a college degree, I tried to do a backflip skying, but failed.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach French or English if I may or even bike mechanic. Learn any language (I love languages), to cook better, to dance better or to build something (anything). Share cultures, food, songs, ideas and, why not, smiles.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I actually like physical work, I works as a painter in a school, I'm pretty good at fixing bicycles, I like to cook (though I'm not great at it), I got a basic knowledge of how to take care of farm animals and I believe I'm a pretty pleasant person. Basically, if you need something done, I'd be glad to help!
