About Me

*I am sorry but I can't currently host you in Brno. Since Setember I will live in Ljubljana in Slovenia, hopefully we can meet there :)*

Hey Hello! I'm 22 years old girl who still searches for new experiences. I just hate to be bored. I study journalism and psychology and I really like it as same as whole student's life with all its advantages (less money, less problems :D).

I am sociable person, I spend almost all of my free time with my friends, It's hard for me to be without company. If somebody comes up with some silly idea, I am always the one who is in! My friends say, that I'm really funny (but maybe they just make fun from me :D).

Once I wanna explore as many places in the world as I can!

And now you are probably here, at my profile, because you want to visit Brno. This handy map can be good start for it: https://www.use-it.travel/cities/detail/brno/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travelling without meeting local people it's not completed. It's not such an authentic experience. Of course, it's nice to see some beautiful touristic place but it's nothing better than sitting in cosy bar/café/park/whatever, sharing stories with nice person you have just met. (Maybe just sharing stories with nice person you have just met while holding a glass of wine. :D) I like the idea how describes CS itself: It's not sharing home with stranger but with friend you just haven't met yet.

I wanna talk to you, get to know you, show you our small city I've fallen in love with (yea I talk about Brno :D), and talk about cultures and countries we live, to let stereotypes die...

If you just need accomodation, I am not the right person for you. I am used to hanging out with my guests.

I can host only one traveler (here is already 6 people in our flat), seriously don't send me a request if you are not only one, I would have to say no, sorry...

So I woul be glad to host you or If you don't need place to sleep and you just want to meet up, of course write me! i'll be happy to show you Brno :)

Interests

I pretty like both of my fields I study. I am member of International student club (ESN in general) it means I help exchange students who come to Brno (I help them with things like: how to buy tram passport, where to buy cheep wine, how to say rude word in czech and other important things :D) I have also my special czech lesson where I teach foreigners our lovely czech language

Recently I try to learn how to play Ukulele, I am really enthusiastic about it, which makes my flatmmates not that enthusiastic.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess as a foreigner you have never heard any czech song. Here is one of my favourite czech band, enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejsJQw_XgHU.

Usually I listen Indie, Folk, Alternative, 60s...but I can even enjoy singing songs at campfire, or polish techno if I am in bizzaire mood :D. Some of my favourite bands randomly chosen: Mumford and sons, Radical face, Roo panes, Arcade fire, Sigúr Ros, Seabear, Low roar, Simon and Garfunkel, thousand other bands.

Favourite books: Of Mice and Men, books by Chuck Palahniuk
Favourite movies: Mr.Nobody, Donnie Darko, Prestige, Absolvent, The help, Jagten, Hrútar, Mon roi...

and milion of others books, movies, music...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

List of Amazing things I've done:
-Living two months in caravan farm in Scotland (very recomendable for making your head empty and clean :D)

-Hitchihiking around Scotland east and Mallorca west for whole summer

- Surviving hosting one weirdo who was standing at my bed watching me sleeping when I suddenly woke up at 5 AM and he asked me: "Can I please hug you? Can I please hug you?!" ....No! Never...again...nobody...like...him!

- Forgeting keys of accomodation in London. Forgetting even where actually my accomodation is, finding it after two hours just because of automatic WIFI connection. Waiting another two hours in 3°C before flat with wine and strawberries until help with keys came.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you around city, show you some bizzairs things of Brno. If I have less time I can at least give you some tips. But I don't know much facts and history of places in Brno.

I can introduce you some of my friends who are really cool and openminded. Take you to my favourite café/bar/pub. To be honest I'm not much club person, but If you want have this kind of fun I am not againts it. We can also cook something together - I would be happy to try some traditional food from your country. I can teach you little bit of czech (probably it's totally useless for you :D).

As a guest I can't offer you much but I can promise you my good mood, helping with everything you need, and sharing some funny stories (or at least I think they are funny :D).
......
Oh, congratulation, you have just reached the end of this long reading!!!
