Overview
About Me
Started selling books at my father’s shop, it was always the inbuilt social ship but the real spirit comes when I thought to do something in the Bastar region which is severely hit by the Maoists insurgency. So, I developed the social entrepreneurship model which can impact the lives of tribal people.
After completing School, I was always working through Jobs and business. I worked in stock broking firms for around 4 years and after my MBA I joined a Market research and Business Consulting company formed by people from top B-Schools like IIM-A, MDI, Nirma, etc. Started as an Intern, and because of my commitment to the work and good results given to clients I scaled up to the level of partner. My last profile in that organization was of COO. After achieving all the heights professionally I decided to work something for the land where I belong, which is facing several development issues. I’m an avid traveler and have been to almost every nook and corner of India as a seasoned traveler, solo traveler, and as social development researcher where I spend a good time with the community and understood their way of life and how they are doing their tourism-related activities. I was quite inspired by the work of North-East India and Kerala and developed the model which can be locally worked in the Bastar region. It was quite tough for me to leave the job in which I have achieved a good reputation but I discussed it with my family and they supported me to pursue the idea as they believe in me.
