Hi everyone

My name is Jakob, 19 yr, and I live near Herning in Denmark. I've been raised on a farm where I'm also living today with my family: Mother, father and little sister (17 yr).

I have just finished what you in Denmark would call "Gymnasium", which is a kind of college. Like most Danes I am having a gap year from education. In this year I would like to both get som working experiences, but also have the opportunity to travel around to see different cultures and other ways of living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned in "About Me" I am having a gap year from education, where I would like to travel around in different places. Therefore, I was recommended 'Couchsurfing' from a friend.

This summer I will go interrail around in Southern Europe with my best friend Kirstine. This is also my first time using 'Couchsurfing' and hopefully it is going to be a success.

Interests

In my sparetime i like hanging out with friend, listening to music, spent time together with my family and doing sports.
I like both running, volleyball, badminton, soccer and working out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dont have any particular favorite music style, but I listen a lot to new music. When I am alone I like hearing music - I think it makes me relax.
I do also listen a lot to the radio - both at work but also at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Travelled to India with a group from a Danish "Efterskole".

- Lived in the States for two months as a part of an exchange programme.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very openminded and easygoing - I am willing to share a lot of my life in Denmark. I can talk about almost everything more or less.
