À propos de moi

I'm currently back in my hometown of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and willing to meet up for some local fun and food, relaxation or adventure.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to travel the world, but never thought it possible due to financial situations of living on a small island. Then, I moved to China, where so many countries are more accessible to my reach. After concluding my first year of traveling, I met so many wonderful people and made so many exciting experiences. As backpackers or budget travelers, we all have some similarities; and I was introduced to couch-surfing by my best friend while traveling SouthEast Asia. I feel CS is a platform for us to help each other see the world and make connections. Later, I went to Europe for the summer where CS helped me stretch my limited resources to make new friends, see new places, and create new memories.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

For me, one of the most amazing things I've done is also one of the scariest and life threatening. I climbed Mt. Hua (Huashan) known for its infamous and deadly plank walk; a narrow wooden plank nailed to the side of the vertical face of one of the highest peaks. Your only harness are two carabiners while hanging 2,000meters up in the air. Looking down, you see the deadly drop. Why I choose this particular time is because at one moment when crossing and exchanging places with people walking in opposite directions, someone took off my carabiner to "help" me without me asking. At that moment, I had no harness on and it could've been the end of me. Needless to say, my legs felt like jelly and my heart wanted to jump out of my throat. But, I LOVED IT! and would do it again if I had the chance to.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

When traveling, I learned to not only look around my surroundings but most important don't forget to look up! you can usually find your way back if lost when you recognize a skyline. Good luck!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I'm nice, considerate, and friendly. I'm open minded and enjoy listening and learning from others' stories. I'm flexible and versatile. As a guest I can clean and organize or help with some daily household tasks. Also I can sing and dance, or help you with either English or Spanish.
