About Me
Hey! I'm Ines :)
I’ve always used couchsurfing to meet people from as many countries as possible, learn a bit of their language and about their culture.
After a long break during the last years, me and my girlfriend are back and happy to host interesting people who want to spend some time with us and share their culture.
I’m currently doing my master’s degree in aerospace engineering.
- One important thing to note if you plan on sending a couch request: please make it personal so we know you’re really interested in getting to know us and not just looking for free accommodation or else we will simply decline your request. For security reasons, we only host couchsurfers who already have a few references and we only take female travelers -
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the easiest way to get in touch with the locals of a country. I love meeting new people and listening to interesting stories of their lives to get inspiration. I have already met so many amazing people on my travels that will have a place in my heart forever!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed with an indigenous family in the deep Amazon rainforest of Colombia. I did a foreign exchange year in Ohio from 2014-15. I solo backpacked through 13 US states in three months and also through Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Ethiopia, and parts of Southeast Asia during the rest of my 10 month trip. I learned to speak Spanish fluently in just 3 weeks when I was in Peru and did lots of volunteering on my trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best thing is to learn from each other's stories and experiences. I can share everything I learned about traveling on a budget and all I know about life and engineering.
