About Me
Hi,
My name is Andrea, I'm 23 and I live in the Czech republic. I moved to Prague in 2017 and i basically have no idea what im doing with my life. Personality-wise, I have a really weird sense of humor, i like to laugh at my own jokes, even though they're really not that funny and im super sarcastic. Despite all that im an easy going person I think as well…I can be a bit shy at first, but once we talk some more, it’s not that bad, especially if we have things in common. Apart from those, im up for any adventure, love exploring new places and meeting new people that I share some of my interests with..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve heard lots about it and it sounded like an amazing way to meet new people while traveling, so I thought why not, and it is indeed amazing.
Interests
I love everything about music, especially when it comes to concerts and festivals. I let loose a lot at these events and forget about how stressful life can be, for at least a few hours of the day. What I also love about it, is that i get to meet so many amazing people that decide to travel from all over europe this way, it’s incredible.
I also really like tattoos (no shit sherlock, who would've thought). Got my first one done when I was sixteen and it just kinda went downhill from there. Couple of months after getting the first one, I was bored out of my mind so I took a needle and an ink and just poked stuff around on my hand, and it turned out to be a bit of an addiction of mine. I’ve tattooed a few pieces on people around me as well and it took a lot of courage for me to actually get myself to do it at first. I was so scared, but the feeling passed after a few of those "sessions" and I'm always very happy when I get to do something like that now.
Photography used to be a passion of mine too, I love capturing moments and then look at the photos and remember exactly what happened. Im now more into analogue photography, it's way more fun than using a digital camera.
As mentioned multiple times already, I love meeting new people from all over the world and getting to know them and their culture, traditions and just about everything else..I’ve gotten to know a lot of people from abroad thanks to social sites like twitter, and I wouldn’t change any of it! I’ve made many great friends this way and I’m very excited to meet some new ones too! I love to sing along to any kind of a song that I know, but that unfortunately does not mean that I am a good singer. As far as I'm concerned, it's actually quite the opposite. Being in public with me can even be embarrassing for some, as I tend to sing along to songs quite literally anywhere - also I sort of dance along to the music as well (I am in NO WAY a good dancer either though). Another thing I enjoy is, obviously, traveling - wouldn't be here if it wasn't something I didn't enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don’t really have a specific music taste, honestly, if I like someone’s music then that’s it. There are days that you can find me listening to post-hardcore bands, then I manage to spend days listening to pop punk, alternative rock or some older bands like nirvana, ramones or the clash and then there are days where I’m too lazy for anything so I just listen to what’s currently hitting the pop charts on the radio.
As far as books go, i'm currently more into poetry than prose, but in general I love reading, so anything that i get my hands on, i will open and try to get to the end of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not quite sure I can do anything spectacular that would be worth teaching, as I sort of doubt you'd want me to teach you how to do shitty handpoked tattoos, but one never knows, so...there IS the possibility - at least the theoretical part of it if anything, if you were interested (now that i think of it though...getting to exchange tattoos with strangers could be SO much fun?).
