About Me

An open-minded girl from the Czech republic who loves meeting new people and travelling, as we all here do. :)
Always trying to see a positive side of everything, don't like complaining.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With some experience from workaway (workaway.info) which gave me opportunity to live and share with local people, I would like to continue meeting new people in a similar way.
The true travelling is only when you have a possibility to get to know locals.

Interests

I like spending time outside, walking, talking, reading, learning new interesting things. I love board games and people who love board games. I was a member of Slovak folklore dance group in France and it was amazing. Currently, I am singing in a choir. I love learning languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like swing and jazz music, sometimes a bit of reggae, sometimes some electro or funky. I really don't like country music, sorry.
Some gigs I enjoyed recently - Metronomy (in Paris), Benjamin Clementine (Ostrava)

For my favourite movies, I would definitely choose Mood Indigo (L'Écume des Jours in French), Goodbye Lenin, The Intouchables.

And I really like books by Kundera, espacially Ignorance and Laughable Loves. From some different author, I appreciated Diceman by Luke Rhinehart that I read recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying one month with a German family in the north of Germany and helping them to renovate their house. It was far from all big cities, surrounded by nature. I learnt many new things and had a possibility to discover a very alternative lifestyle, which influenced a lot my way of thinking.

Teach, Learn, Share

My passion is learning languages, if you want to improve yourself in some language I speak, I would try to help you as much as I can :)
I have an experience of teaching French to refugees in France.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Switzerland, United Kingdom
