About Me

I am an artist and designer, I make many different things from garments to electronics. I've been in the San Francisco, California area since 2003 and love sharing it with folks although I can't host very often right now. I travel a lot to Pennsylvania, New York and Hawaii.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I like to meet different hosts and hear their stories, share meals, and have a safe place to stay for my walking adventures.
I love the hosts I have had and this way of traveling has changed me forever!

I also love hosting. I think it is a very special art form and am excited for the times when I am able to host people.

(it seems like a lot of people are on here cruising for hookups and i just want to say that's not really my goal)

Interests

Im a queer and radical artist. I love all types of art, music, and design, I love dancing and concerts, I love technology too, especially love mechanistic and large-scale artwork as well as people's personalized fashion expressions. I have worked as a carpenter and painter at various times and love working with my hands, love making art with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music from american folk and blue to hip hop and electronica. I am learning how to play the guitar.

I love Octavia Butler, Isaac Asimov, and everything in between.

I don't really watch movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've walked across broken glass and sailed through the Golden Gates but none of it is as difficult and amazing as surviving as an artist in USA... :/

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people how to sew, ferment foods, cook beans, use power tools, make websites, and do electronics. I'm always looking to learn more about plants and music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, paintings, repairs, knowledge, laughter

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Ecuador, England, Iceland, Israel, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
