Hi I'm Grace! I come from a horse farm East of Melbourne and I have grown up with a passion for travel, adventure and animals. I love spending time with my family and friends. I have recently qualified as a teacher and have been working to save money to move to Europe for 2 years. I want to try as many activities as possible while away because... Why not! I love surfing, snowboarding, horse riding, rock climbing and white water kayaking. I also enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

However there are things I don't like! Celery tops the list, I am also a bit chlostrophobic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I love the concept of meeting locals and being able to experience a place through their eyes. I have also had people tell me how much they enjoyed their experiences couch surfing and suggested that I give it a try!

Music: very varied, I don't really have a genre but I like AltJ, Coldplay, most things on the radio. I even have a soft spot for country and metal haha (rarely though).

Books: Harry Potter, Matthew Reilly ... Anything with a bit of excitement!

Movies: Action and romance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked for 20 days through the Australian Alps and up Australia's highest peak with some amazing friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I am pretty good at handstands! I also know how to party haha I'm not to sure if that is applicable.

Learn: I would love to learn about my host, their way of life and anything they are willing to teach me!

Share: Food and stories! I enjoy cooking and socialising so both would be perfect!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to help in any way I can. I think cooking a meal would be my ideal way to thank a host because eating together is such a wonderful way to enjoy others company!
