About Me

Well, hello there! I'm a sociologist with a serious passion for all things culture, mass consumption, economy, and retail methods. But what really gets me going is wine and cigars - I mean, have you ever had a great glass of wine or puff of a cigar? Pure bliss, my friend.

I've actually studied wine at WSET London and cigars at the LA Aurora Institute in the Dominican Republic. It's safe to say I'm a bit of an expert in these areas, and I'm always down to share my knowledge and help you choose the perfect wine or cigar for any occasion.

When I'm not sipping and puffing, you can find me traveling the world, meeting new people, and soaking up all the different cultures and lifestyles out there. I'm open-minded, fun-loving, and easy-going - and I've got an observant eye for all the hidden gems and attractions wherever I go.

Oh, and did I mention I'm from Jordan? Yeah, I know all the ins and outs of my country - visa, currency, transportation, culture, night life, you name it. So if you're planning a trip there, I've got you covered.

Anyway, that's enough about me. Let's chat about you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm a sociable person who loves meeting new people and immersing myself in different cultures. I believe that the best way to experience a place is through its people, and Couchsurfing allows me to do just that. Plus, it's a great way to save money while traveling and to connect with like-minded individuals who share my love of adventure and exploration. I've had some amazing experiences through Couchsurfing - from sharing meals with locals to exploring hidden corners of a city with my hosts. And who knows? Maybe I'll be able to host someone in the future and give them a taste of Jordanian hospitality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As an avid traveler, I've had the privilege of experiencing some incredible destinations and activities around the world. For example, I had the opportunity to climb Aphrodite's rock in Cyprus, which offered stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and a connection to the rich cultural history of the region.

In another memorable adventure, I spent five hours observing beautiful flamingos in their natural habitat. It was a peaceful and awe-inspiring moment that I will always cherish.

Additionally, I had the honor of exploring Khofo's pyramid, an incredible testament to the engineering and architectural skills of ancient civilizations. It was a humbling experience to be in the presence of such historical significance.

And when it comes to exploring cities, I prefer to take a more active approach. During my travels to Prague, Paris, Versailles, Sèvres, and Brussels, I walked a staggering 150,000 steps, immersing myself in the local culture and appreciating the beauty of each destination without relying on public transportation.

Overall, these experiences have enriched my life and expanded my perspective on the world. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share them with others and to continue exploring all the wonders that our planet has to offer.
