We are an Aussie couple from Sydney, Australia, on a journey through Asia up to Mongolia. We love meeting and engaging with locals in the countries that we visit - why we joined couchsurfing - as it is the perfect way to learn about other cultures and how people live their lives. We also simply enjoy meeting new and interesting people, sharing stories and perspectives.

To meet new and interesting people! We love learning about different cultures, languages and lifestyles and think everyone has an interesting story to share - whether that is a new perspective, knowledge or simply their company. Also, as we love to travel, we joined couch surfing so that we really immerse ourselves in the country that we are visiting, and staying with a local naturally seems like the best way to do just that.

Intereses

Anneke -
The world around me, and seeing and learning about as much of it as possible. I am endlessly curious. I also love good food, good company, meeting new people, MUSIC, running, hiking, reading, photography and a good sunset :) I am also a bit of a science nerd and have a passion for Immunology and Microbiology.

Connor -
I studied architecture and worked for a year in a sydney firm mainly in the social housing sector which I found really challenging and rewarding. Since then I decided to see more of the world and it’s populations, to learn about life in developing and developed countries, the good the bad and the in between. I am passionate about the environment and the overall well-being of humans.
