Hello! My name is Alyssa. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up by Seattle, Washigton U.S.A. I just graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I plan to pursue clinical psychology and a specialization in art therapy in graduate school. I work for the YMCA in Washington. During the school year I work with elementary school children and during the summer I take teenagers backpacking in the Olympic national park. I love working with people and traveling to new places. My greastes hobby is painting. I spent last semester in Florence, Italy where I took art classes and had an internship in an art gallery. Living in Italy gave me a new appreciation for experience new cultures, seeing new places and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am backpacking through Europe for the summer. I use couch surfing so I can meet local people wherever I go. I love experiencing a new place with someone who lives there.

I love most kinds of music but some of my favorite bands are Alt-j, the Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, Munford and Sons, and the Beatles. I LOVE live music!
