About Me

I'm in that awkward stage where I should probably be getting a full-time job with benefits and a cubicle, but am not ready to give up on adventures and spontaneity! I love to travel, eat delicious food, and treat my eyes to beautiful things! I've never met a stranger and try to meet everyone with authenticity and warmth :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travel is one of the best medicines for the soul! (Second to laughter.) It helps us reconnect to ourselves and our passions.

I'm new to couch surfing, I haven't hosted or surfed through the site yet, but have done both organically by meeting people and connecting in person! I'd love to explore your city like a local, or show you mine! I live with my parents right now, but when I move into my own place, my couch is ready for ya :)

Interests

Music and food are my first loves. I enjoy painting, making pottery, doing yoga, moderately challenging hikes with breathtaking views, and travelling of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

I could always listen to The Shins, Fleet Foxes, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Sylvan Esso... you get it, the indie rock genre. Best concerts I last went to were Santigold, Modest Mouse, and Father John Misty!
I also like to sing, and have performed and recorded with friends and family several times. Happy to break into song with ya :)

My favorite movies are by Wes Anderson and Alfred Hitchcock.

I wander through the internet more than I read books, but I'm about to start "Letter to my Daughter" by Maya Angelou, and I love to read dystopian fiction!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I lived in Greece at a holistic Yoga retreat center! It was an amazing learning experience. I volunteered in the kitchen and learned a lot about vegan and vegetarian food preparation! I am an omnivore though, and I love to try all foods!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to share ideas about meditation, healthy living, and mindfulness! Also love to drink good coffee and wine, though they may cloud that cultivated mindfulness occasionally...

I'd love to learn a musical instrument! I've dabbled with piano, guitar, and tambourine, but haven't developed the discipline to rock them out.

I can share my growing knowledge of essential oils and natural remedies, and I have a recipe for an incredible skin cream I love to make! I can also share my enthusiasm for naps, bargain wine, and breakfast .

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good laugh and a new friendly face! I love to cook and would love to share a meal :)

Countries I’ve Visited
