About Me

I live in the beautiful town of Jeffrey's Bay where I get to see the sea and think on the Ocean every day. I enjoy seeing and hearing and smelling and breathing and tasting life. I work with a group of people from Global Challenge Expeditions and help with a green project at a school building site. I also work part time as a barista and love spending time in the beautiful Deep (Ocean).

I love nature and the great outdoors (it IS pretty great). I am drawn to stormy weather and wind and storm and iciness and the sea dancing. I also love warmer weather when the afternoons and mornings are golden. I cannot choose between a cat or a dog. I love both. (and other animals too). I think birds are pretty amazing.

I love spending time with people and getting to know other cultures and sharing different ways of looking at the world. And what draws us together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a cool way to really see places and people. It just makes sense. I enjoy community living.

Interests

I am delighted and intrigued by the Deep Blue. I also like maps about things(science, geography, ocean and so on) and thinking.

I enjoy being outside (surfing, hiking, dancing), reading and going on small adventures (also one day I would like to go into outer space).

I love spending time inside, under, next to and filled with the Ocean.
