Overview
About Me
My name's Aurore De Vreyer, and I'm half French half Malagasy. I traveled all over the world, in search of new experiences, new people and new sensory discoveries. I'm pretty shy at first but if you're friendly to me, then I'll be glad to tell you all about the things I have seen so far and they were many and fun ! I also happen to study FLE (which means 'French as a foreign language' to teach French learners) so I could travel even more. So if you're nice and like meeting new people too, hit me up !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's killing two birds with one stone ! Honestly, what's better than either traveling or meeting travelers? Worst case scenario: we both spend time together getting to know each other and discovering what there is to discover. Best case scenario: we both spend time together getting to know each other and discovering what there is to discover. CouchSurfing seems like a major win-win to me.
Interests
Well I was raised into a reader family so I really do enjoy reading. Since I'm french, I know quite a lot about French literature. I also like museums, old monuments, cultural history, basically deeply soaking myself into foreign cultures. I am a hardcore foodie (which by the way, let me tell you, whatever food you personally like don't ever hesitate to make me taste it, I'd be really happy to try anything new and different) and if it wasn't already obvious, I like traveling !

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Proust, I read the entire Remembrance of the Past and it became a part of my core identity.
As for music, I like anything really, as long as it appeals to me. But some of my favourite bands are Louise Attaque, Sinsemilia, The Rolling Stones, Massive Attack, The Beatles, Chill Bump...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was once offered to sing an opera air in the Opera of Lille ! I had stagefright and all but it went well ! That's one of the proudest moments of my life. That and also the fact that I traveled to a lot of countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you French, I can teach you basic malagasy words (malagasy sounds really islandic). I can learn your language, your cooking (yes please!), I can share my music, my culture, my knowledge, whatever as long as you ask me !
