I am an easy-going, responsible, professional full time musician. I live with my wonderful nurse fiance outside of Chapel Hill, NC. We have three cats. Living life to the fullest and happy to meet others who do as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a full time singer/sogwriter/performer (bass guitar also). I not only would love to help out roaming folks like me, but it could be a lifesaver to be able to crash on a couch on tour, vs paying $120.00 to stay at a Hampton Inn. Win/win!

Music, Movies, and Books

I truly do love all kinds of music, grew up a rock and roller and loved 'em all, Who, Stones, Beatles etc etc etc. Was a rock and roll bassist/singer for years, now solo acoustic singer/songwriter stuff. Later in life got more in the alt-country thing - don't much care for a lot of new Nashville country, but love Lyle Lovett, Dwight Yoakum, Willie, Robert Earl Keene, Steve Earl, Whiskeytown, etc etc.

Just the other day saw the movie Love and Mercy, the Brian Wilson biopic. Thought it was brilliantly done!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let me think. Well, passing night law school (3 nights a week year round for FOUR years) and the bar, while working a stressful 60+ hour a week job from hell, with a completely disabled wife, while raising 2 young kids - and I never missed a single one of their soccer or baseball games.

That's four years of missed sleep I'll never get back.....
