I am a 25 year old psychology student. I am from Bogotá, Colombia where I currently live. When I was 17, I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina to study stage acting and ended up staying there for five and a half years. I have been working as an English teacher for two years now and I really enjoy my job!...I consider myself to be a very passionate person, I love to meet new people, adore traveling and having different experiences. I have to confess I am also a coffee, beer and wine lover. I spend most of my free time going to the movies, hanging out with friends and family while having long conversations, reading, going out dancing and having a drink or two. For me people are FASCINATING and understanding them, getting to know their lives and sharing time and significant moments next to them is EVERYTHING!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because this year I decided to write my own bucket list and I figured out, at least, half of it envolves travelling. I told myself that I had to start crossing out things and that life is too short to wait for later, so I choose to plan a trip to New York, Boston and Philadelphia in order to attend two of the concerts of my favorite artist (passenger). He won´t be coming to Colombia anytime soon, and I refuse to let my dreams in the hands of fate.

On the other hand, I think the best way to travel is meeting new people, talking to them and letting them guide you through the city, not just going to the famous and recognized places, but also getting to know the cute little under rated spots where people who live in the city truly spend their time and make most of their memories.

Last but not least, I am interested in a cultural exchange, in meeting new people and building nice friendships! I would like not only to travel, but also to open the doors of my home for others and take them on an adventure through out my city! This is about connecting and erasing the frontiers!

兴趣

Like I mentioned earlier I LOVE meeting new people, travelling, dancing, going to the movies, reading, watching theatre plays, having a cup of coffee and having new exciting experiences. I also enjoy walking, writing, shopping and, laughing!

I am a Paul Auster fan, all of his books are priceless to me. My favorite movie is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", I also enjoyed Dogville, The Hours, Whiplash and Woody Allen`s movies in general. I am a Passenger fan, I also enjoy Angus and Julia Stone`s music...In general I am a music lover!

Decide to leave my home at 17 to pursue my dreams and find myself in another country! Change EVERYTHING! Leave EVERYTHING behind and get out of my comfort zone for the adventure of the unkown!
