Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that we travel not only through places but also through people. This is why I love to connect with locals or people that know and live the place at its fullest. I also believe that receiving people and welcoming them in your own home is a great way of travelling without leaving the house.
I mean, who doesn't get this rush of adrenaline and aspiration for new projects after listening to great stories?

I also realize how every single person I hosted brought me something, a new song, a new topic of interest, curiosity, or a new friendship!
I also believe that travelling makes you more humble, as you realize how tiny you are in this world and how important it is to reposition yourself into this perspective. I have learned a lot through couchsurfers. Especially to listen and to give. And when it comes to my travelling, I can't complain cause my eyes have been spoiled so far. Not to mention that every single time, I win a bit more faith in humanity.

I have a comfi sofa bed that opens for 2 (3 if you don't mind squeezing a little) in my living room. You can buy and cook whatever you need using the kitchen. In case you need a towel, please let me know a bit in advance cause I have some spare ones.

I hope you won't mind coexisting with my many plants and books, and perhaps my many friends coming to squat my flat for a tea or some wine.
