Overview
About Me
I'm a twenty-one-year-old student who grew up in Czech republic and today I'm living in Germany, where I started my studies one year ago. I'm interested in languages and would love to become a translator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing, because the very idea seems intriguing to me. The fact that there is a community of people out there, who are offering to host complete strangers and helping them to learn more about different countries makes me very happy. I am grateful, that something dependent on trust and communication between cultures does work. Eventhough I am currently not able to accept guests I would love to travel more. And what can be more intresting than staying with actual people from those foreign countries and getting to know them better. Also I see it as a great opportunity to ask questions about the land, culture, other ways of thinking and so on.
I love travelling accross countries. I usually can't stay on one place for very long. Therefore I'm usually looking for accommodation for just one night. I think couchsurfing makes these stays so much more interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: almost anything. I usually decide song for song, whether I like it or not. Some examples: The Beatles, Jason Mraz, Zrní
Movies: Mary and Max, Song of the sea, Intouchables, The Blues Brothers, Yellow Submarine, Cloud Atlas, Theory of Everything and oh my god so many more.
Books: definitely too many. Just some examples: Harry Potter, Name of the Wind, Froth on the Daydream, anything from Tolkien or Terry Pratchett, Game of Thrones, The Little Prince and I could go on and on...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Student exchange in Germany, which resulted in a lasting friendship with my host.
Actually taking the opportunity and moving to Germany for my studies.
Teach, Learn, Share
teach - basic czech words (so you can impress your friends)
learn - almost anything. I'd like to learn more about places my hosts live in.
share - passion for books, movies, art, various interesting websites
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my point of view. I can share my way of thinking and most importantly, I think, I can share my passion for books, foreign cultures, friends, life. I feel a deep passion for a lot of things in my life and I get easily excited. I love conversations about almost anything, because I like talking about things that interest me an that I love. And I like listening, learning what other people like and are excited about.
