About Me

Sicilian born, moved to UK when I was 18.
I have been living in Edinburgh for the past 6 years and absolutely love it.
I have travelled on my own in Europe and in the UK, now I have finally got a Passport so considering South Asia exploration in 2019!
I love organizing events, helping friends with their businesses and ideas, supporting my community and learn new life skills!
I was basically born with a pencil in the hand so will probably leave you a sketch or two!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of Couchsurfing, and believe that meeting the locals is the first step towards getting to know a place better, behind the touristic facade.
I wish to use couchsurfing it more often now that I'm back on travelling (didn't leave the country for a bit as focusing on work and university), unfortunately my vagabond life has made it hard for me to host anyone but I hope to be able to do so in the near future.
Love meeting new people, is definitely an occasion for growth and gives a different taste to the adventure of travelling :)

Interests

The old description was veeeery detailed. I'd like to speak more in person about my interests.
Generally, music and art events are a major part of my life.
I love working at festivals and events organisations, both indoor and outdoors.
I am crazy for drawing. Animals and Nature.
Love people who are not afraid of being themselves with all the quirks they have.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an extensive classic knowledge when it comes to books. In the past few years I have been upgrading myself more and found some interesting contemporary reads.
I have a passion for cinema too, preferring experimental and dystopian genres. Again I am trying to expand my knowledge on independent and contemporary artists.
Music.. I wouldn't be alive without music! I listen to a lot of genres, usually handpick artists/band and make sure they are in my playlists. I like supporting the local scene of Edinburgh, both of live and electronic music. I don't really go to concerts of big bands, not a fan of sweaty crowds.
I am more a private listener or with few people around who appreciate music in a similar way.
I have also started to sing and write my own songs , work in progress!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to chose one I'd probably choose organizing my first free party with my friends at the edge of a forest overlooking a beautiful pebbles beach in Scotland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing my experiences of life, life is constant learning and discovery of self.
I like engaging with others , inspire and be inspired.
I can teach you how to split a banana in 3 parts with your lil finger! ahah
