About Me
I am a PhD in mathematics (set theory) from Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran. I enjoy travelling and getting acquainted with people of different cultural backgrounds around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I mostly travel for attending math conferences around the world where I usually stay for a few more days to spend with the local people and learning about their culture and life style.
Interests
In simple words I love science, history and culture. That is why I enjoy learning languages and wish to become a polyglot.

Books: Mostly classical novels, particulatly Dostoevsky and Hans Christian Anderson.
Music: Mozart, Vivaldi, Orff, Enya, Loreena McKennitt.
Movie: Tarkovsky’s Stalker, Kubrick’s 2001 a space odyssey, Kurosawa’s Dreams, De Sica’s Bicycle Thieves, Aronofsky’s Pi, Shyamalan’s The Village, Amenábar’s The Others, Weir’s The Truman Show, Barratier’s The Chorusand Jeunet’s Amélie are among my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my school era I have discovered Chebyshev polynomials independently.
Also, I have seen an alien visiting the Earth! ;-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a lot of linguistic, historical and cultural information about Iran for those who are interested in learning more about Iranian culture and life style. Also, I am a friendly and easy going person for all manners of joint activities including site seeing, hiking and sports.
