About Me

Living abroad for almost 7 years, I love to travel, but have not been abroad for almost three years due to my preoccupation with building a successful business here. Trying in NYC and ultimately failing, I figured I'd give the west coast a try.

My nephew is my only family out here, he's 26, I'm 31… basically I'm the youngest of 6 and my family are Irish-Italian Catholics. Not me though, I'd say I am spiritually inclined but not religious. Though I love to learn about Religion. Not to mention (which is to mention), History, Culture, Politics and mostly Science.

Not only am I looking for a place to crash for a little while, which would be enough… but I am also looking for a potential partner to help me start up one of my many business ideas. Right now I'm looking for developers/programmers who can help create innovative social enterprises. That would be ideal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To summarize… The Silicon Valley Dream...

Basically, I'm on couch surfing because too many things came to a head all at once and I can't afford to pay first, last and security right now.

Last month I quit my job as a Field Manager for Environment Washington when I got bit by a dog. Don't worry, I don't have rabies. ;) Anyway, to me, it felt like the universe spoke to me… So I quit, which was something I had wanted to do for a while feeling stifled in that exhausting job. And the very next day I met an Iranian business partner who happened to have the same idea for an app as me. Then later that evening, I met the two students who had already built a prototype of the idea. At the moment I'm focused on pulling this fledgling business together by my bootstraps and haven't the bank roll to pay for rent at the moment and pay for other things that the business needs.
