There is not a lot to tell about me.....

Grew up in Chennai, did all my schooling and my bachelors there. Now moved to Germany to pursue my Masters here in Ingolstadt.

Raised in a Hindu Brahmin family with all the traditions. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm religious to a certain extent but don't like superstitious beliefs that are practiced in the name of religion.

But that is a discussion for an other time ;)......
I take life as it comes and enjoy all the ups and the downs life brings along. Love hanging out with friends and also making new friends. Not a big fan of going to clubs as I cannot dance but if anyone wants a company, then I'm your guy.
I'm a social drinker (love beer - especially German and Czech Beers), non-smoker, movie and Tv show freak (have an iOS app which tells me when the next episode is going to air :) ). I'm an anxious person, so basically the hardest thing for me to do in my life is to go meet new people....but once that barrier is broken, I'm an open book :D. You will definitely get know me better when I host you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said before, I'm a bit anxious and that's my foremost reason for joining couch surfing..... whats the best way to learn swimming than jumping in to the pool ;)..... I believe meeting new people both by hosting and by being a guest will help me overcome my anxiety.

Secondly, I love to travel and see new places.....One day I want to make a cross country Europe trip with a motorbike (Ducati Multistrada or any bike which I can afford to buy or rent).

It would be epic if I get to meet the love of my life during a couchsurfing trip :D

Interests

I love to travel and take photos.....I'm an photography enthusiast (I'm one of those guys who has a DSLR and pretends to be a photographer :P).

I prefer eating my own food than buying from the shops.....Love to cook....As of now I can cook only Indian and Italian foods but slowly learning to cook other styles as well......Also!!!! I'm a vegetarian.....

Whenever I'm not in office or the in kitchen, my eyes are hooked on to my Kindle. I'm a big fan of mystery novels, Love Lee Child books, Dan Brown is one of my favorite with Angels and Demons right at the top.... Robin Cook Books intrigue me and fantasy novels fascinate me (not a big fan of Twilight though).

PC Games are my best way of letting out steam..... Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, FIFA, Batman series are some of the long list of games I play.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled a 1000 km to and fro with my motorbike when I was in India.....Best ride ever....

Traveled to Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava in a single weekend.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
I can teach Indian vegetarian cooking, the culture and traditions of a Tamil Bramin, Cricket, Engineering :D, Tamil (Mother Language), Yoga (I only know the basics).

Learn
Guitar (self practice at home but not looking so good), Salsa, Viennese Waltz or any other style of dancing, Swimming (I know I don't know swimming please teach me).
