About Me

Someone once told me that I have a global spirit, and now I literally live by that.

I love to travel!

Tiny islands and unreachable parts of the world fascinate me the most.

I also have an obsession with Central America!!
A few years ago I volunteered in El Salvador for 3 months and I lived in the rural communities teaching English, painting murals, working in the cornfields and supporting gang outreach projects in Downtown San Salvador. It was one of the most enriching and eye-opening, experiences of my life.

These experiences have influenced and shaped my plans for the future and I am now passionate about development work. My goal in life is to ultimately make a positive change in the lives of others.

I am also a student in London studying Politics and International relations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is something wonderful about travelling and being totally immersed into a culture through staying in somebody else's home!

As opposed to a hotel setting, I hope Couchsurfing will give me a more authentic and valuable cultural experience.

The mandatory cheesy travel quote, which I feel sums me up pretty well :)

"I travel a lot; I hate having my life disrupted by routine"

-Caskie Stinnett
