Mary works as a biologist and Mike works as an optical engineer. Together we have lots to talk about when it comes to science, the environment, and engineering. We love walking tours, going hiking, bicycling, traveling, and we enjoy cooking and cleaning (yes..haha). We enjoy being early risers or night owls depending on the social environment and the opportunities that may be missed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We met online, and want to experience traveling the world and meet others in various cities through all social realms, including the internet! Mary has hosted couchsurfers and has stayed with couchsurfers, and is now introducing Mike to the community. We hope to have new, fun experiences together with couchsurfing.

Mary has a wealth of knowledge in geography, the environment, and how California deals with the drought. Mike has so much to teach about optical engineering and the many uses of lasers. We enjoy learning about anything and everything and would love to share in our discussions.

We are very clean and considerate and would love the opportunity to stay in your home. Mary leads a fish and vegetarian lifestyle, and Mike is all things carnivorous.
