About Me

Currently as many other people around my age trying to figure out for myself what I want and where I want be..
I am super interested in other people's thoughts and life, I am creative and a dreamer. I've studied Cultural heritage for 3 years and at the moment I am doing a Creative writing an Dutch language course, to become a teacher. I've lived in Amsterdam for 4 years and last year in Paris for 1 year, where I worked as a language teacher and Au-Pair. I worked at the van Gogh museum and freelance as a writer, writing about music and and doing interviews with different cool inspiring people, and in September this year I start my last year as a student/fulltime teaching intern! At the moment I am living with my mom because I had to leave my student housing. But I am looking for my own place, and as soon as I find one I am looking forward to having some cool people over for one or two days:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As cliché as it sounds, i would love to meet people from as much different cultures as I can, and learn about there lives. I love showing people around my own city and telling them about it. I always get super enthousiastic about it so I can imagine that other people really like doing that too. I think it so much nicer to see a city that way instead of just to really touristy things that are mostly so worn out and overcrowded.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couchsurfing through East-Europe with one of my best friends, we met so much amazing people and went to see spots in cities I would otherwise never have been because of tips from the people we stayed at. Very good experience. Also my year living in Paris, but I can only pick one I guess:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English and Dutch ofcourse. I can give you some really good recepies and cooking tips, and as I am schooled for that, help with writing poems and stories too!
