About Me

Well, I'm a 25-year-old Spanish girl studying in Germany.
I finished a bacherlor's degree in English studies 4 years ago, and right after a did a master's degree in teaching. However, I'm still trying to find my place, so I decided to start another master in English literature and cultures in the University of Tübingen. I know a little German but I'm really excited about keeping on learning the language.

I really like travelling and I have visited many countries in Europe. In fact, I lived in Ireland for a year (Erasmus program) and three months in Germany, where I worked as an AuPair. Last year I worked as a teaching assisstant in Spanish in the USA.

I am an optimistic person: I always see the bright side of everything, even unconsciuosly. I believe in taking risks and if you want something in life, you must go for it. I'm an open-minded person and I like meeting new people and listening to their stories. Also, I must say I like partying, going to clubs as well as staying in a pub with some friends laughing and talking.
I consider myself as an easy-going person: I don't like having troubles with people and I always try to be respectful and see things from different perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm 'couchsurfing' because I love travelling. I've always liked it but now more than ever. I think couchsurfing is quite an amazing way to travel without spending too much money (an important thing in the economy of a student) and to meet new people, which I believe is one of the most important things when visiting another country: it is the way you truly get to know how that coutry works, what its people do and the mentalities and ideals.
It is also a great way to meet people when you're new in a city. There're always a lot of things to discover but some things are better when shared.

Music, Movies, and Books

I cannot say which of these things are my favorite. Depends on the mood, on the day or even the people I'm with, I listen to one type of music or another. I decide movies depending on who's with me and that moment, and books, I just randomly pick a title and start reading out of a sudden.
As I said, I am open to everything, and many of my likes have been built by people surrounding me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A normal person won't call this amazing I think, but for me is quite an achievement: I camped and backpacked all the way down and up the Grand Canyon for 8 days.
It was the first time I did something like that and it was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

In this worldwide society we live in, learn is crucial to adapt. Learn about the world, about minsets, about geography, about feminism, about culture. About ourselves.
And the best way to learn is to live unafraid of change, unafraid of sharing, unafraid of opening up and letting others in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Actually, I must say I'm a good guest. I will always try to make the other person feel comfortable with me, I don't like bothering nor causing troubles. I will always try to help in everything I can. Furthermore, I really like cooking and the 'Tortilla española' is one of my signature dishes!
