I am a policy analyst and lawyer specializing in health policy. I am also a huge volleyball fan and spend as much time as I can playing on the weekends. I have an adorable boxer pup, too many books, and an obsession with travel, even though I rarely have the time or money to travel as much as I would like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought this would be a great way to meet interesting people who are traveling to the DC area, or to have local advice on where to go the next time I am traveling. My friends who have done this have all had good experiences, so I wanted to give it a shot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving with some guy I hardly knew. It was a totally platonic thing- I was at some conference and a friend of a friend introduced us and we started talking about how great it would be go to skydiving. So the next weekend we rented a car and went skydiving!
