Overview
About Me
Student of New media in Finland, currently in Exchange in Fukuoka. I love to program interactive stuff, and make new inventions specially in relation to music; currently I have worked a lot with javascript and arduino. I also enjoy reading and watching the trees on the quiet. I also like to listen to the stories of new people, as each different experience is invaluable.
I am easy as a host and couchsurfer, as I am generally silent and clean. I have never been hosted by a couchsurfer. I was hosted, though, more than once by people in my trips on the very south of Chile and on Chiloé island.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The truth of a country is with their people. I like to know the people from each place I travel, and generally their experiences are the most representative part of a place's identity.
Interests
I worked a couple of years in a very interesting makerspace, in Chile. I have designed musical interfaces, a robot, a classroom computer, some musical toys and paper toys. I am always looking for chances to make new interesting stuff.
I dream about making many creative tools that would compel anyone to become creative within an unknown field. I also dream about making school unnecessary.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of the nineties style of electronic music in the line of ministry of sound and the prodigy. Drum and bass and IDM (Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, aphex twin).
Also classical music from the romanticism to post-impresionism (chopin, debussy, satie, ravel, etc.).
Some classics such as Radiohead, Bjork..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Each person may find different things to be amazing. I have some of my projects, writing and music in my website http://autotel.co
Or if you want to try something from what I do at random; go to http://autotel.co/getrand :)
I am sure you will find something interesting there. I am also happy to have a chat whenever you want.
Teach, Learn, Share
It is not possible to teach; it is only possible to learn. I say this because one may want to teach something to other, but that other will always interpret the lesson in an unexpected way. I like a lot to share and see what someone else may learn from what I show.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could share about Spanish language, Latin American (specially Chilean) culture. I also love to share what I have learned about electronic music making and performance. I also like to share about programming, arduino, and that sort of things. In general I am good at listening. I can also share a lot of networks from Chile, and hopefully from Helsinki.
