Overview
About Me
I am a self employed person after spending 18 years in corporate life. The 9-6 routine wasn't for me and i finally gave it up. I am married and have a 5 year old son.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since my college days i have had an avid interest in people and various cultures. To be acquainted with people from different parts of the world and with different belief sets and cultures is the biggest education in this world. At the most granular level all of us are a part of the great human race bound by the same common human traits of lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego but choose to behave and exhibit them in so many different manners. I want to meet people from various countries and cultures and get to know them and strike powerful friendships something missing in my life.
Interests
I love to read and listen to music besides travelling to various places and i love to eat various cuisines and meet and interact with people of different faiths and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love Indian hindi movie songs esp from the 60 and 70s era. It was the time of melody and deep meaning lyrics. Love movies esp drama romance and comedies. Besides Bollywood my all time favorites are The Godfather series, Ricky series and of course the one and only Bond, James Bond. Books i like to read fiction and have read almost all the works of Robert Ludlum, Jeffery Archer, Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, Irving Wallace, Wilbur Smith, Harold Robbins.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2006 -07 I was going through my lowest phase in my career and was financially in the dumps with not more than $ 200 as my savings and in that 18 month period i traveled to London, Dubai, Thailand and the USA with virtually no money and used credit cards borrowed from friends, did balance transfers to save on interests, but I did it. So strong was my will that i did not let my challenges become bigger than my goals. The first valuable lesson in my life. When the dreams are big, facts don't count and its always intent that is the most powerful force in this world and not mechanics.
