Hi! I'm Joni, 27 years old and a Nurse in Risedale at St Cuthbert's. I just moved in the UK (Barrow-in-Furness) last September 10, 2016. I lived in a small but naturally rich city in the Philippines. Life there in Iligan is simple and laid a bit further back compared to the metros but with 23 waterfalls and countless springs, it's a perfect place to be unwinding in. So far, I'm enjoying my stay here in the UK and I'm so excited to explore Europe in the coming months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the pillars of traveling is meeting new people and I find couchsurfing as one of the best avenues for that. The time you get to spend with your hosts or guests alike is a gem that doesn't come daily.

Interests

There are a couple of things that I love doing especially when I'm bored. I write songs, poems, essays mostly about love and life. I also sing and play the violin. And apparently, I love to travel. The EXCITEMENT in meeting new people, EXPERIENCING various cultures, and EXPLORING new places, are to me an elixir.
