Amy and I are 29 and 26 years old respectively. We are seeking exciting adventures while traveling around the United States for the following 4-5 months starting in February 2020. Nate is taking a leave of absence from his job in Minneapolis, MN where he works in the wine industry finding great wines for Restaurants and Retail outlets alike. Amy is leaving her job as well where she organizes events such as weddings at an event space in St. Paul Minnesota called Paikka. Both avid travellers, we are excited by the prospect of meeting new people near and far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Amy and I have each left our jobs with plans to travel around the United States by way of a newly outfitted Sprinter Van beginning in Minneapolis en route to the Baja Peninsula south of the California border. We would like to meet new and friendly people while on the road and hoping to experience the local culture of each new place we lay our heads from the inside out. Initially we are planning on traveling through Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona, and then North through California, Oregon, Washington before passing back through Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas and then home again.

Nate:
I have summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, traveled by van around Australia, and caught a fish much larger than myself in Alaska.

Amy:
I moved to Italy when I was 18 to live abroad, I have traveled Europe extensively and traveled across the United States once already.
