I live 2 lives.
In one I am a civil engineer, working on Australias largest infrastructure projects. I am very busy, working 12+ hours a day. Though my career is somewhat satisfying, it is restrictive and draining.
The other, I am free. Every 2 years I quit my job and travel the world. I like to explore hidden secrets and meet new people from all over this beautiful planet. I like to think I have friends everywhere I go, some I have already met on previous adventures, others I am yet to meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I generally travel solo, which can get a bit lonely.
I think couchsurfing a great way to meet people and get some local advice about the places I'm in.
Story telling is one of humanities greatest assests and I have got a few, I am sure u do too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Won a drinking competition in Siberia,
Wrestled a Mongolian nomad (lost),
Fell asleep on the main street of Tokio, Shat my plants on Everist and,
Broke my leg jumping off a bridge in Bosnia.
