About Me
My name's Jack. I'm British born and bred but moved to France as a young kid so spent most of my childhood there. Moved from London to a small French mountain town in the Pyrenees, so quite a big change. From one extreme to the other as they say.
Parents set up a bed and breakfast so many travelers would pass through our place from many countries. I guess that's a big reason why I'm so eager to explore the world myself.
I love hitchhiking, did it all the time as a teenager as public transport was shit. It's a great way to meet people, get stories and see a less 'orthodox' route and view of the world than that you'd get with a bus.
Moved back to London by myself in 2012 to go to University, I still go back to France to see the family on holidays etc.
I love a party, a drink and whatever else available. I love traveling around, I really want to see the world and meet her peoples and cultures. I'm a big animal enthusiast (vegetarian in the UK and France but while I travel I'm eating meat as cuisine is a big part of local culture), I love a bit of History, Politics and Geography. I enjoy natural views, forests and mountains are awesome.
Completely fluent in both French and English and I'm desperate to speak German one day too! Love the country, the language and the people.
But yeah I'm a sociable guy so if you wanna meet up for a chat and a drink send us a message.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like 1960s 70s music. Rock n' Roll Classics. Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors etc. etc.
Movies; Shawshank Redemption, Wolf of Wolf Street, Snatch. Classic British dark comedies are the best.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The term 'amazing' is perhaps a bit too strong but me and a friend hitched from our home town in Prades, southern France, through the Pyrenean mountains and Andorra into Spain, we then proceeded to Madrid.
We did it for charity and he idea was to not spend any money at all, so no sun cream, we packed all our food in advance, same as water which we had to try and fill up on the way by finding public taps or asking strangers to fill our bottle up. We'd sleep wherever we were by the road when night fell. It took us almost three days but was great fun and quite the experience. Flared a taste for adventuring along the road in us.
