Hi, I am Bee Kee from Malaysia!
I am 22 this year and I am currently doing my master degree in Lancaster University, UK. I major in linguistics and I love languages.

After high school, I went to Australia for a 5-week exchange program
and headed to Taiwan right after for my bachelor degree in Taiwan, where
I majored Foreign Languages and Literature. That is also when I started learning German as my second foreign language. From there, I pick up my interest in phonetics and minority literature :)
During that period I also joined a voluntary program held by AIESEC to teach English in Russia. I really enjoyed my stay in Russia even though it was just a month. I stayed with a host family and met many friendly and helpful people. I always enjoy talking with the locals and knowing more about the places rather than seeing them from the outside or merely visiting the tourist spots. I also have a host family from Australia :)
I came to the UK last August to pursue a master degree in linguistics for just a year. I am excited about visiting different places around the Europe after this.

I'd definitely love to host people once I am back in my home country or when I settle down somewhere cause meeting people from everywhere is just one of the most amazing things to do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard about Couchsurfing for a long time but haven't got chance to try it out myself so I thought it'd a great experience to do that now that I am going on holidays.
I enjoy staying with the locals wherever I go cause I get to know more about the local cultures when meeting people with different backgrounds and interests.
It'd be amazing to meet people and share our lives through this channel!
