Some books that have touched me:

Novecento - Alessandro Baricco
On the road - Jack Kerouac
Jean Anouilh's work
Les mémoires d'Hadrien - Marguerite Yourcenar
Calvin & Hobbes - Bill Waterson
French literature (19th and 20th centuries mostly)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day I decided to walk about 50km to the sea (the city where I lived was close to the sea but 50km-away close...) in one go. Obviously that didn't work out. I walked for 4.5 hours before giving up and hitchhiking the last 20km. When I got to the beach it was almost night but not quite and and the sea was shining like I had never seen it shine. My legs were absolutely broken; I hitchhiked on the way back. It was a great day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share the French language (I'm biased but I think it's such a wonderful language), my love for pasta and for Calvin & Hobbes
