About Me
Where to start - I guess in medias res! I'm graduate student of Russian Language and Literature and Sociology. What I like to do is what I am, so let's put it this way - I like to spend time in nature, I like to cook and prepare meals for my friends, I love poetry, I love traveling. I guess I just enjoy meeting new people, new creatures, new flora and fauna, I love to work, I love to use time I have. Traveling and meeting people is something I really love, because meeting a local makes me able to experience new place/culture/city/country more deeply. Since I'm always trying to travel on a small budget I appreciate help with accomodation and I am offering the same to you guys :) At this moment I'm in USA and I can't offer anything, because I don't live in my flat, but once I am back home, you are welcomed to come to Croatia :)
I love to live, I live being aware of a moment, I like learning languages, I adore preparing food and decorating my colourful table. Every time I move somewhere I feel reborn, with every new person I get to meet I feel new motivation and inspiration - what else I wanna do, what habit I wanna get rid off. I love dynamic way of living, mobility, constant change and some peaceful moments to reflect on all that. Meeting new places and people is one of my ways to grow.
P.S. My cousin was the first person to start Couchsurfing in country where I come from, so I kind of feel I finally need to start with this! I was hosting people before, but never used it like a guest. :)
I like French and Spanish movies.
I read mostly Russian and Croatian literature, but at this point some of the books that impressed me the most lately are Per Petterson's "To Siberia" (contemporary Norwegian literature) and "New Finish Grammar" by Diego Marani (Italian writer). There are many more that I love! Let's talk about this when we meet :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This platform offers us all something amazing, and something I find extremely important - besides the accomodation which is actually financial help - it offers us space for solidarity, creates possibility for us to meet people who are trusting others, people who want to help and share their personal space with someone, but also who are interested in meeting new people, their habits and to become a each other's travel stories. This is one of the ways to fight capitalism as well, and I love that. Let's be parts of each other's lives for few days or few hours, puzzles in someone's picture of life. Let's Couchsurf!
Interests
One of my favourite hobbies is acting, performing poetry, using performance as a way of activism. I think it is important to stand up for our rights, to fight for a change and status quo when needed, so I kind of tend to connect my passion for writing and performing with all the problems I find important.
When I'm not studying or working, I like to spend time doing new stuff - ride a jetski, lose a ground under my feet while trying zip lines, change a pace of using a byke or skate, learn how to prepare some new recipe, read a new book of some contemporary writer, try to learn how to play a new instrument (at the moment getting to know Kalimba :D ). I also like basketball, I'm not training anymore, but like to watch it occasionally. I do my morning runs and yoga to get grounded again and get ready for everything universe is giving me.
