Basically to broaden my horizons.

I love the idea of travelling even though I haven't travelled much in my life (that's one thing I have to change, like, NOW) and I believe that hosting people from other countries is a good way to learn about their experiences and culture.

On top of that, I also believe "tourist's tourism" is not the best way to know a city/country. In my opinion getting to know a place with a local is a far better way to REALLY know the place.
