About Me

I'm a french student passionate about litterature, music and journeys.
Three years ago I crossed the central Europe (after Italy, to Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria) by train from Lyon to get to Istanbul with friends, it was a fascinating and messy trip : surprises, coincidences and discovers were all along the way.

I tend to move regularly to diffent cities - mostly by car-sharing or hitchhiking. Recently I've been in Barcelona for new year's eve, and to Bruxelles multiple times to see my friends living there.

My first important trip was from Nancy (my hometown) to Budapest. We went by train with a friend and travelled through Germany (Munich), Czech Republic (Praha), Poland (Krakow), Slovakia (Bratislava) and finally arrived in Budapest, Hungary, where we spent amazing lively days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people from all around the world, sharing experiences and interests.
-----------
I've recently planned to go to Greece to discover the country, meet people, and write about the situation the greek people is living. I'll be there probably for the 15th of July or maybe a bit before - depends on the journey !
I'd like to gather testimonies of different social classes and to note my impressions about the daily life and the state of mind of the Greeks about the crisis.

Greece is the main cultural heritage of Europe, to see this country in difficulty today is significant- Europe is struggling to find a common solidarity and ideal.

I think that through the Greek's crisis we can see two different and contradictory ideas of Europe shaping : a mere economic entity where applying neoliberal rules is the sole goal; and a cultural, non-economic gathering of people, which understands same values of freedom and openness.
I'd like to discuss and to share thoughts about all this with anyone who's interested.

Interests

I'm mainly interested in litterature, which I have been studying for the last three years. I've been writing fiction and non-fiction stuff for quite some time now and i'm also interested in music, being a guitarist in a post-punk/cold blues band.
I regularly play chess as an amateur, and have developped a great interest in this fascinating game.
Would love to hear what are YOUR interests !
