We are two South African ladies and cousins, who have taken time off to backpack around the world. Roxy is a qualified attorney and Joy a teacher but before we settle down into the world of responsibility, we decided to break free and take this opportunity to discover more about the world, the people who live in it and ourselves.

We don't just want to be tourists in the countries we visit, we want to be exposed to the real culture of the country by meeting locals. We are also from South Africa where our currency is very weak and we would like to use this tool to save money for the adventures that we really would like to experience. We would also like to share our culture and values with people around the world and make many more international friends.

Intereses

We both enjoy the outdoors and getting lost in the wonders of nature.
We are active individuals and enjoy playing many sports like squash, tennis, scuba diving, hockey and beach soccer.
We have recently become interested in birdwatching and learning to play golf.
We have a blog which serves as our travel diary and tells all our tales of adventure.
Our hobbies include walks on the beach, karaoke and photography.
