Overview
About Me
I’m from Taiwan and lived in Japan and Alaska.
I visited 57 cities when I was 21 and spent lots of time talk with locals.
Lots of stories we can exchange, like the real stories of war in Bosnia, participating a totally stranger ‘s wedding in Morocco, riding on the donkey under the stars in mid night in Petra, Jordan. ...... more.
I really appreciate the people I met on the way and the great time we spent with.
The conversations crossed different culture brought me so many new thoughts and helped me to find more possibilities about myself.
I’m always open mind and excited about new things.
About history, human being, dreams, environment, music, love and life. So much things we could share and learn.
The differences between countries, cultures and people made this world so various and interesting. I love to know more and more.
Be humble. To learn, to experience,
to get to know oneself better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy the time to travel alone and extremely focus on experiencing the new things and creative people around by. I read a lot but I used to confirm with the locals. And it’s very important to try to think of one thing base on different opinions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learning Japanese to communicate better with my grandparent.
(There are big amount of elders in taiwan speak only Taiwanese and Japanese due to the colony history. And I’m so bad at Taiwanese. Lots of young people in Taiwan now days only speak Mandarin. )
Teach, Learn, Share
I collected lot of thoughts from different culture. We will have a lot to share and discuss. And if you are interested in Japanese culture, you find the right person to talk. Also all the cities I’ve traveled, I know cool places to go. The locals brought me there, and I’m always more than happy to share. My favorite part of traveling is walking around a new neighborhood. Listen a local friend share the stories and memories about the area, and maybe take a break at one of their favorite cafe/bar/restaurant. The small things are the best. Each of the detail made that moment unique. And we share the moment together. Doesn’t matter how long or how short we spent together, a meaningful conversation continues carrying on after farewell.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook some Taiwanese / Japanese food to share. And of course some interesting conversations to get to know new things. Also some of the Asian indie music I really like will be a lovely one to share.
