I'm an easy going, quiet guy, who likes to travel the world through education. I am a teacher at international schools and I have lived and worked in Guatemala, El Salvador (6 years), Mexico (5 years) and now São Paulo, Brazil (since August 2017). At some point I will be moving to Colombia and then South East Asia. I was born in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, but moved to Guatemala City when I was 3.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Enjoy learning about different cultures, foods, languages; and really love sharing mine. I am proud of being Hispanic, especially Guatemalan.

Interests

I like outdoor and cultural activities; from rafting and crazy music festivals, to quiet rivers and classical music and theater. I am normally quiet due to the daily working routine, but always willing to do something fun on weekends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: a little bit of everything, depending on the mood; but enjoy Guatemalan rock. Movies: independent films and suspense. Books: not a good reader, but enjoy talking to people who enjoy it.
