Right now I have a kind of gap year between my studies and starting a 'real' job. So I was volunteering in Austria for a month, then moved forward to Vilnius to spend here 7 other months. During my time abroad I want to see, learn and experience as many things as possible, and meet lots of great people.

When not on a gap year: I'm spending the bigger part of the year in Budapest, I used to study and volunteered/worked in educational and social programs (eg. in children camps) and visited lots of training on nonformal education methods. Otherwise, I gladly visit underground places and programs on social issues, I love biking and enjoy café, tea, beer, books, sunshine, shadow, trees, and the long walkings through the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet local people when travelling to exchange experiences, ideas, knowledge, and I like to meet visitors in Budapest for the same reason. And because I love to share what I know about the city.

(I'm very sorry but my living circumstances don't allow me to accept guests, although I'd love to! )

Music, Movies, and Books

My childhood's triumvirate: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Ring - I'm still very nostalgic about them.

Recently: hungarian contamporary literature, 1984, hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, non-mainstream (non-)hollywood movies, only lovers left alive, tilda swinton, music of the 60s, trip-hip, nick cave and some more current performers like london grammer or archive. also walking dead and game of thrones - both of them help me to be very cool.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was quite pointlessly wondering on my own in Paris, and at one point I just realized that the Tour de France is actually just happening around me.
