Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Update: from around end of March 2017, the only accommodation I can offer is your tent (gave mine away) in the orchard.

Travelled a bit in my time, can remember what it's like to need a place to lie down quiet and safe. Though I could hardly imagine anyone would want to stop by here but hey, just got contacted by someone who's signed up for a workshop 35 km away and asked me to stay for two days. So here I am filling up that profile. Very welcome for sure but accommodation is poor to say the least at the moment... See "My home".

I like silence... and all sorts of books as long as they are decently written (no spelling mistakes is a definite plus). Exception for the odd "polar" but in that range I'd still prefer Mary Higgins Clark for example.
