Hi. We are two danish girls, Asta and I, driving from Austin to New York in three weeks with the purpose of getting an impression of how it’s like living in this huge country which we in Denmark learn so much about in school and television. We’ve heard that apart from interesting culture and great nature USA got some good music and probably also good beer. I've had some really good experiences with couchsurfing meeting amazing people who opened up their homes for me. At home I live in a collective where I can’t host people but I have a dream of being a host if I some day choose to get my own place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling and meeting new people with different stories and passions, which I can get inspired by. I want to experience countries from the inside, by talking to people, who are living in the places I visit.

Teach: Birds, plants and baking sourdough bread

Learn: I would like to know more about other people’s stories and way of living. Hope to get better at permaculture, farming and building.

Share: I got some good recipes for cooking :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a kitchen, we have some delicious dishes we could cook together or have a chat over a beer. Both Asta and I love chatting about philosophy, society and nature ( I’m a hobby bird watcher and at home I’m working with nature protection). Additionally we got some good travel stories from sailing around the Caribbean!
